Painted Pony Vineyards Styled Shoot | Shannon, North Carolina | Photography and Floral Design Part. Two
The Painted Pony styled shoot that took place this May, held two styles. Part One found in my blog contained a neutral pallet with soft pinks and an array of peach. For this design, the main pop of color that was incorporated was black! Not a typical Bridal Bouquet color.
Blooms that were used in this arrangement included Anemones, Ivory Roses & Spray Roses, Burgundy Scabiosa, Scabiosa Pods (a new favorite), Dusty Miller, Baby and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. These blooms together gave the design both a neutral pallet but also added a pop of black. Since not many flowers are naturally black, and I wanted to keep a natural look, I needed to get creative. Anemones, which are super popular, give that natural black pop through the center of the flower. Another creative black flower option were both burgundy Scabiosa and Scabiosa Pods. The Scabiosa Pods gave the arrangement a unique feel since it is not a typical flower you would see in a bridal bouquet.
I hope you enjoy these photos! This project was a total dream to work on.
