Painted Pony Vineyards Styled Shoot | Shannon, North Carolina | Photography and Floral Design Part. One
A hidden gem in Southern North Carolina, Painted Pony Vineyards. Last fall I connected with the venue coordinator, Cheyenne and was able to participate in my first styled shoot with them back in November. Fast forward a few months to May and yet again, Painted Pony pulled off an amazing setup.
This was an incredibly special event for Cusick Creative. Here I designed my biggest floral project yet: two designs, four bouquets, arbor pieces and a wild flower crown along with some boutonnières. It was AMAZING. This blog post includes part one of two blog posts. This design held a wildflower look incorporating one of my newest favorite flowers - Quicksand roses! They open up so beautifully and hold this delicate Mauve coloring. The element that I think really pulled off the wildflower look was the Gunni Eucalyptus, it was the perfect mix of flowy and full both in the bridal bouquet and the flower crown. Full flowers used in this design: Pampas grass, Gunni Eucalyptus, Baby Eucalyptus, Dusty Miller, Quicksand Roses, Chablis & Majolica Spray Roses and Peach Ranunculus. The Peach Ranunculus come with such variance of colors — which in my opinion is such a good thing bringing depth and dimension to the bouquet.
I cannot wait to share the other design I was able to dream up.
